Whoever is responsible for this needs to get kicked in the teeth. This is not possible with the OWA search function. This is an acceptable manner for clearing the emails out. This happens in gmail too when you do a search, but then once you have done a "select all", another option shows up for the search button that allows you to include messages that meet the search criterion, but are not shown on that page. This account has 69,000+ messages and needs to delete around 60,000 of them.
I can select these and delete them in the OWA, but *only messages that show up on the search page*, which is 75 of them. So in Gmail, there's a way to select *all* messages under a particular search criterion.įor example, "received<" will bring up messages older than a certain date. When you remove an IMAP or exchange account, the ost file is deleted immediately. You can open it in outlook without the pop account the mail was downloaded from. When you remove it from outlook, it is left on the hard drive.
